black and white

There's nothing more simple and chic than pairing black and white together. Okay, there obviously is, but hands down putting black and white together is top five. Black and white are so versatile that it makes any outfit easy to accessorize. Here's how I did it with white shorts and a black top.

product review : maybelline baby lips in pink punch

I'm not a fan of wearing lipstick or lip gloss and maybe it's because I haven't found a formula yet that isn't too sticky or too shiny or too matte etc etc... Whether I'm wearing a nude color, pink color, or red color, I want my lips to look natural. I want the color to work with my natural lip color and what I found to be best for me in the past is wearing tinted lip balms. Some of my favorites were from Bobbi Brown, but for some reason I don't think they sell them anymore or they've completely changed their packaging and I just can't recognize them in the stores but at the same time I haven't really been looking...

ANYWAY,

I've really been into light and bright pink colors this summer and after seeing some reviews on the Maybelline baby lips I decided to get the color Pink Punch.

The color is a nice bright pink. Be warned while it is sheer you can build the color up and WOW is it bright. I bought mine at Ulta and after my boyfriend and I went into the store next door and that's where I tried it on. While I was browsing around the store I opened the lip balm and put it on, not thinking that the color would deepen the more I applied, I just moved it back and forth a few times like regular chapstick, no big deal. Wrong. It was very bright and before getting the chance to look in the mirror the look on my boyfriend's face was all I needed to tell me that my lips looked crazy. With that being said, I really like the way it felt, nice and light not too sticky. Not sure if I'll buy it again just yet but I was pretty satisfied with the overall product.
