home away from home...

I love leaving the city and having a peaceful, carefree weekend. It's nice being able to have those weekends where you just do nothing and relax. Those are sometimes the best ones. Here's some pictures from my weekend...

fall must haves!

fall musthave
1. Sam Edelman Stevie Roccia Boots
These boots are to die for! Usually my style during the fall and winter is very basic with a splash of a bold accessory of some sort. I prefer these boots when going to class or work because it's a bit different than the regular short cowboy boot. It adds something extra and completes an outfit perfectly without overdoing it.

2. Essie's Smokin' Hot
Fall means dark colored nails and while I have MANY Essie favorites, the one I've been wearing recently is Smokin' Hot. It's a dark, dark gray with almost a touch of purple. It's a beautiful deep color.

3. Joe's Jeans
I LIVE in my Joe's black skinnies during the winter months! They are super comfy. Super stylish. And go with everything. Honestly, they're a staple in my closet!

4. Chloe Eau de Parfume
One of my favorite scents ever! I wear lots of perfumes year round. But I find this one to be one of those scents I can wear during any season. It smells very feminine. I love it!

5. Rooibos Tea
I love tea anytime of the year but especially this one during fall. Not only is it super amazing and good for you but it also has a very nice deep fruity flavor. I always drink mine with honey before I go to bed. It's great for you skin and over all appearance. I highly recommend this!

6. Bath and Body Works Candles
So if we're all being honest, it's not fall until you light your Bath and Body Works holiday candle. It makes your home smell so cozy and inviting! My personal favorites are: Marshmallow Fireside, Twisted Peppermint, and Pumpkin Pecan Waffles.

7. Rodin Olio Lusso Luxury Face Oil
I love natural products that actually work. One of my favorite natural products is the Rodin Olio face oil. It's a blend of 11 essential oils that do wonders for your skin. Having oily and sensitive skin, I was very skeptical about trying this out(I mean, you're putting oil on your face.) But this stuff doesn't make me break out and it makes my skin radiant! The price is a bit... much for 1 fl. oz. But personally, I think it's worth every penny. It's definitely a staple in my skin care regimen. It will literally last your forever. You may need to only buy 3 in your lifetime(I'm still on my first bottle!). I use mine at night right after I wash my face.

8. Basic Tee
Like I said earlier, my style during the fall and winter(probably spring and summer too) is very basic. I like my basics!! Basic tees like this are a must have for me because you can wear them with a pair of skinny jeans or leggings, your choice of shoe(mine is always a tall boot or a pair of booties), and you are set to go. All you need is a scarf, bracelets, layered necklaces, a hat, any accessory really to personalize your look. It makes getting ready effortless and you still look stylish! What's not to love?!

9. Ray-Ban Aviators
It is cold, but it's still sunny! My choice of shades for the colder months are a pair of aviators. Stylish and chic, you don't have that "bug look", and they look great on almost any face shape. They also automatically make you look cool.

10.Skull ring
I love skulls. I love anything Native American. This is clearly my go-to accessory.

I hope you all enjoyed my fall must haves! If you have any questions about any of them, feel free to ask me! What are your fall must haves?

october wedding

This past weekend Parker and I were invited to one of his fraternity brother's wedding. It was a great time and we even ran into a couple of unexpected friends!

And of course this precious face was waiting for us at home :)

How was your weekend?

P.S.-Does the dress look familiar? I also wore it here!

arizona and colorado

As I sit here and sip on my matcha green tea drink of choice every morning,I always seem to reminisce on my trip to Arizona from a few weeks ago, desperately wishing I was back! Once thinking I would never, EVER live in the desert and now I'm counting down the days till I move there.
Parker and I split up our long week by spending a few days in Arizona and a few days in Colorado. It was a magical week!
